The welding procedures used in the fabrication of steel products are in accordance with American
Welding Society Standards.
Spot welding back-to-back channel is manufactured using a DC powered resistance
welding machine. A statistical quality control program, combining, destructive and non-destructive
testing is used by AM-TECH to ensure high quality welds.
Mig Welded, more properly called Gas Metal Arc Welding.(GMAW) Combination channnels
and fittings, are produced when physicallydimensions or certaincombination require a weld process
other thanautomatic spot welding. The same quality control requirements are imposedon Mig Welding
and spot welding products.
